About Me
Cassie dyson
Cassie is originally from Abilene, Texas where she began Classical Ballet at three years old. In the years that followed, she continued studio training in Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, and Lyrical. It was evident early on that she had a love and passion for dance and sought to explore her options beyond. When Cassie was 14 years old, she moved with her family to Allen, Texas where she began her freshman year at Allen High School. She pursued the dance and drill team route as an Allen Tallenette. Cassie embraced the transition from studio dance to team-based dance, utilizing her technical training to serve as her foundation while learning how to work with others and pursue opportunities in dance leadership. After graduating from Allen High School, she began teaching with Marching Auxiliaries (MA Dance) at numerous summer and private camps in Texas and across the US.
Cassie pursued dance at the collegiate level as a Kilgore College Rangerette. Upon completing her sophomore year at Kilgore College, Cassie moved back to the Dallas Metroplex and continued at Texas Woman’s University (TWU) in Denton. There she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Dance and spent one semester studying abroad at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia.
While attending Texas Woman's University, Cassie danced and performed as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. During her time cheering for the Cowboys, Cassie was selected as a member of the DCC Show Group to represent the team in special appearances and performances. Since then, Cassie has been on the Allen American's Ice Angels, DefiANCE adult dance company and most recently has joined the USA Cheerleaders for a second season as Captain.
Cassie loves sharing her dance passion of dance and performing arts with others, from a first class up to the highest level of athlete and performer. Cassie has 15 years of teaching experience and loves to see the joy of dance continue on with the next generation.
